Acitivity taken up in spring 2008- which will be re-assumed..hm tomorrow

An activity for people without their own gardens that still want to grow things and eat fresh veg. as well as potentially sharing their effort with other people. Using sides of unused carparks, neglected sides of walking pats etc.

Interaetigly enough the local council has just started a new scheme which tehy call Eaduble Heaton where the will be planting basil etc amongst the flower at Chilliroad.. they must have seen my work and become inspired.

planting-032Last year we had some success with coriander and parsley here and there but the tomatoes and sweetcorn failed miserably.. So this year wil will give a chans to the chilli, sugarsnap peas and some rocket!
